July 9 through 10 (Days 29 through 30)

Day 29: Three classes, a five hour library session, thunderstorm, hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookies, sightseeing planning, girl time. My day in a nutshell. : )

Cork didn't really pan out for Caitlyn and me, logistically speaking, so we're going to go up to Salthill with Meghan on Friday and the open air market Saturday morning. Sometime, I'm going to go hike Croagh Patrick - either Saturday, or next Thursday, or the Thursday after (the one I leave the program). It's the tallest mountain in Ireland (2,650 - my Montanan self can't help but smile a little), and a major pilgrimage sight. St. Patrick went up there for fasting and prayer over 1,500 years ago. Anyways. Sunday is our Aran Islands trip, and I'm super-excited. We get to bike across the island - and biking is one of my favorite things.

Day 30: Class and researching for my papers. Exciting, I know. If anything crazy happens tonight, I'll add it in the next post. : )
